Swami Vivekananda Scholarship – Application Form, Eligibility, Rewards/ Amount: As Swami Vivekananda believes in the slogan that “Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in man” the West Bengal government offered the scholarship to the meritorious and economically backward students of West Bengal by the name of the Swami Vivekananda scholarship. This scholarship can be attained by students of higher secondary level, postgraduates, undergraduate level, and above.

Initially, this scholarship was introduced in the year 2016 and now it took the growth through an increase in its number of seats and different awards to the students. The sanctioned amount to West Bengal students has been increased from Rs.45 crores to Rs.2000 crores. The Swami Vivekananda scholarship was announced to the students in classes of 11,12, undergraduates, postgraduates, and doctorate levels.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  •  The candidate must be a native of West Bengal.
  •  The student must be at a Higher secondary level or above in the recognized institutes of West Bengal.
  •  The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed the range of Rs.2.5 lakhs per annum.

For the higher secondary level of the studies Candidate should qualify in the Madhyamilk pariksha or the equivalent examination 75%
For Diploma Students Candidate should qualify in the Madhyamilk pariksha for 1st-year diploma courses or the student should pass the diploma 2nd year 75%
For Undergraduates Applicant should qualify for the higher secondary level exam or equivalent exams to it 75% (Best out of five)
For postgraduates Honor subjects at the graduation level Honor subjects in the Engineering subjects at the graduation level 53%

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship – Rewards/ Amount/ Stipend

The amount given to the selected candidates for the Swami Vivekananda scholarship depends upon the course that is currently pursued by the student of West Bengal. the scholarship lies in between Rs. 1000 – Rs. 5000 per month.

Selection Process

  •  Once the Deadline mentioned is over, then all the applications will be set aside.
  •  Those applications will be set according to their descending order based on the category of course.
  •  After the verification of all the documents submitted by the applicant, the amount will be distributed to the candidate as mentioned.

How To Submit Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Application Form?

First check the eligibility condition to apply for the SVMCM scholarship scheme, if you are eligible then you can apply for this scheme through svmcm.wbhed.gov.in. You have to fill out the application form through Online Mode and have to upload all the relevant documents. Once you will be enrolled, you will get benefits under this scheme.
