TS ePASS Scholarships 2023 at telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in | Telangana ePass Fresh & Renewal Registrations (Open Till 31st March 2023): The officials of Electronic Payment & Application System of Scholarships, Government of Telangana have come up to grant the TS ePASS Post Matric Scholarship 2023 for the eligible students to help them in the components namely reimbursement of the tuition fee (RTF) to the college and maintenance fee to the student (MTF). Also, the officials have made the Fresh & Renewal Registration link active. 31st March 2023 is the last date to Post Matric Registrations.

Latest Update: TS Postmatric Fresh and Renewal Registrations 2023 are opened for 2022-23. And the last date to register is 31st March 2023.

Reimbursement – TS ePASS Scholarships 2023

The reimbursement of tuition will be dependent on the course you pursue. While most of the courses are eligible for 100% of the tuition fee as fixed by the government. Self-financed courses are eligible only for a maximum of Rs. 20,000 or the actual fee charged by the college, whichever is less.

Eligibility of Students for TS ePASS Scholarship

• SC & ST Welfare Students whose annual family income is Rs. Two Lakhs or below
• BC & EBC and Minority Welfare Students who belong to rural areas their family income should be Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand or below
• BC & EBC and Minority Welfare Students who belong to Urban area’s family income should be Rs. Two Lakhs or below
• Disabled Welfare Students whose parental income is Rs. One lakh or below
• EBC students who are selected Under Corporate College Admissions Scheme Eligible for Intermediate courses
• Students whose attendance is 75% at the end of each quarter & Promoted to the next academic year for Renewal Students

Students not Eligible:

• Students belonging to categories other than SC, ST, BC, EBC, Minority, and DW (Disabled)
• SC, ST Students whose annual family income is more than Rs. Two Lakhs
• BC & EBC and Minority Rural area Students Whose annual family income is more than Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand
• BC & EBC and Minority Urban area Students Whose annual family income is more than Rs. Two Lakhs
• Disabled Welfare Students whose family income is more than Rupees One lakh
• All Students who are pursuing part-time courses, online courses & Correspondence courses
• Students admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats & Spot Admissions
• Students who applied for Stipend/ Scholarship in any Scheme
• Students of BC, EBC, and DW students studying the Courses offered by open universities, distant mode, category B seats in MBBS, BDS
• EBC students studying Intermediate or courses
• Students Pursuing the same level of courses

Courses Eligible for TS ePASS Scholarship

Post Matric Courses approved by the concerned University/ Board having a duration of 1 year and above

Group-I

• Professional Courses (Degree and PG Courses in Medicine, Engineering, Technology, Management, Agriculture, Veterinary and Allied Sciences, Business Finance, Business administration, and Computer Applications/ Science)

Group-II

• Other professional and technical graduate and PG including (M.Phil, Ph.D., and post-doctoral research) level courses not covered in Group-I. all post-graduate, graduate-level diploma courses.

Group-III

• Degree courses (not covered in groups I & II)

Group-IV

• Intermediate
• ITI/ ITCs
• Vocational courses (Intermediate level)

Courses not eligible:

Scholarships are not awarded for training courses like

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses
• Private Pilot license Courses
• Courses at Pre-examination Training Centers of all India and State levels
• Correspondence courses & One Year Certificate Courses.

Time Line for TS ePASS Scholarships

Role of Students:

• Submission of Application with relevant Documents at college within 15 days of Admission
• Aadhar Biometric Authentication at Meeseva

Role of College/ Principal:

• Verify the students’ application and forward it to biometric authentication
• Attendance
• Local or Non-Local
• Bonafide
• Discontinued/ Regular
• Submission of Signed Barcode hardcopy at the district office with Relevant Documents
• Submission of Utilization certificates of sanctioned students to the district Welfare officer within 15 days of RTF credited,

District Officer:

• Sanctioned and release MTF and RTF

Reasons for Telangana ePass Rejection

• If not the bonafide student
• Incorrect caste, Income Details
• Nonsubmission of caste, Income certificates
• Incorrect course & year of study
• Nonsubmission of hard copy of the application
• A student admitted under management quota & Spot quota
• Nonsubmission of required certificates
• Discontinued/ Detained students in case of renewals
• Claiming scholarship for same-level courses

Pre Requisites Fresh Registration Process

• S.S.C Hall ticket number, year of pass, type of pass (Regular/ Supple./ CBSE, etc.) to access the application

a) Student Aadhaar CARD NUMBER
b) If you do not have Aadhaar Card, go to the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Centre for enrolment
c) If you have enrolled for Aadhaar and have an Enrolment Number (EID) with you, then verify your Aadhaar Status

• Caste Certificate obtained from Meeseva Centre
• Income Certificate obtained from Meeseva Centre after 01-04-2021
• Open a bank account in any of the Nationalized Banks (Click here for the list of Nationalized Banks). Bank account not required for EBC students
• Students should have a Mobile Number for receiving ONE TIME PASSWORD for registration of application (Mobile number may belong to the student or any one of his/ her family members)
• STUDY/ BONAFIDE CERTIFICATE for the last SEVEN consecutive years of Study
• Furnish CET (Common Entrance Test) allotment order for CET courses
• If the student belongs to Intermediate, to register in ePASS, the student has to complete online Admission in BIE(Board of Intermediate Education) Portal by the College Principal
• PMS Applications Registered in ePASS under ‘FRESH’ will be processed subject to college confirmation by the University registrars concerned and also subject to the eligibility of the student
• If there is a gap in the study by one student, by discontinuation on health grounds or for other reasons, the place of residence of the gap period as given by the MRO critically determines whether a local candidate or not

Mandatory Documents to be Scanned Fresh Registration Process

• Latest Passport size photograph
• Aadhaar Card of the Student
• Bank Pass Book first page (showing student name, Bank Account Number, and IFSC code of the Bank Branch (Not required for EBC students)
• STUDY/ BONAFIDE CERTIFICATE for the last SEVEN consecutive years of Study
• CET (Common Entrance Test) allotment order for CET courses

Pre Requisites for Renewal Registration Process

• In case of a change of Bank account, open your Zero balance account in any of the nationalized banks. A Bank account is not required For EBC students
• Students should have a Mobile Number for receiving the One Time Password for registration (The mobile number may belong to the student or any one of his/ her family members)

Documents to be scanned for Renewal Registration Process

• Bank Pass Book first page with Bank Account number and IFS Code incase of change (Not Required For EBC Students)
• Passed/ Promoted Marks Memo of Previous year
• Original Income Affidavit (signed by the Student & the Parent) Download format for the affidavit
• College Bonafide Scanned Memo of the Present Academic year

Please visit the epass website and click on the scholarship status button given in the middle of the web page. Furnish your application ID and other details are required. Upon furnishing the details you will get a detailed statement showing the different transactions on your application.

TS ePASS Scholarships Registration 2023

• Candidates must first check into ePASS Telangana’s official website @ telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in.
• By entering into the home page you will find the respective tab, where you can check your eligibility.
• Once you are eligible and are interested to register for the TS ePASS Scholarship, then hit on the Post Matric Scholarship Services tab.
• If you are registering for the first time, click on the link corresponding to Postmatric Scholarships For Fresh Registration.
