TSP Scholarship Details

TSP is a State Government-sponsored program under the MA & ME Department, Government of West Bengal. WBMDFC was established in 1995 as per the West Bengal Act XVIII of 1995, i.e. The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation Act, 1995.
This stipend is awarded to the candidates who are residents of West Bengal and have passed their last final examination securing less than 50% marks. He/she should have been continuing his/her studies in regular mode. The scholarship is awarded to students for pursuing studies from class XI and onwards up to Ph.D. And the Annual Family Income of the student should be up to 2 lakhs. Where the 30 % quota of the scholarship is for girl students.

TSP Objective

The function of the Corporation is to generally undertake the task of the economic welfare of the minorities. Where WBMDFC is functioning as a Nodal Officer of the TSP Programme. WBMDFC has been taking up various schemes for Economic Welfare, Scholarships, vocational training, mass awareness, and career counseling since its inception.

TSP Scholarship Eligibility

• The Candidate is residresidentest Bengal.
• Only for minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsi & Jain.
• The candidate must have passed their last final examination with less than 50% Marks in the last Board / University Examination [OTHER STUDENTS ARE WITH 50% MORE ARE NOT ELIGIBLE].
• The annual family income of Parents/guardians should not exceed 2 (two) lakhs. The stipend is awarded once time in a year(in a single payment).
• Students who are pursuing regular courses of study are only eligible for this scholarship[STUDENTS OF DISTANCE LEARNING ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP].
• And in a family Maximum, 2(Two) students may apply. The students obtaining a benefit under this scheme are not allowed to avail of any other benefits under any other scholarship scheme. [IF A STUDENT IS IDENTIFIED TO HAVE APPLIED FOR MORE SCHOLARSHIPS THAN ONE, ALL APPLICATIONS WILL LIABLE TO BE REJECTED].
• Students must download filled out the online application and take a printout of it. The same should be submitted to his/ her Institution along with an Annual Income certificate, a Page of the passbook indicating name, account number, and IFSC. An income certificate may be issued by Pradhan/ Ward councilor/ Gazetted officer/ MLA/ MP.

Reward Style for TSP WBMDFC

The amount of benefit is directly transferred to the candicandidate’s account. So applicants are advised to open Bank Account preferably in a Nationalized or any scheduled Bank having IFS Code as the scholarship amount would be disbursed through Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT) mode only.

Steps To Submit TSP Scholarship Application Form

• Go through the TSP web portal @ www.tsp.wbmdfc.co.in.
• Click on the New Registration Button On Home the Page.
• Fill Up Student Information And Click Proceed
• Fill Up the Scheme Eligibility Column And Click the “Submit & Proceed” Button
• Check Your Relevant Scholarship Scheme & Process Accordingly
• Remember & Note Your User ID And Check your Email Inbox/ Mobile For Retrieving Password
• Login with Your User Id And Password on “Student Log-In “
• Change Your Password For the Next Step (Mandatory)
• Fill Up the Details required.
• Finally  Submit.
• Finally, take Print Out Copy Of the Application From
