UP Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana | Application, Assistance Amount, Eligibility: The Uttar Pradesh government is implementing the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana for the farmers. If there is death or disability happened to the farmer when working in fields then the family of the farmer will get the assistance amount. On 21 January 2020, in the cabinet meeting, the CM Yogi Aditya Nath declared about the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana which is a replacement of the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Jivan Bima Yojana.
Rs. 5 lakh compensation will be given to the farmer’s family if there is a death of a farmer. 2.38 crore farmer’s families will get benefits through the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Scheme. The Bataidars who cultivate other’s fields and share the crop will also eligible for this insurance scheme. Rs.500 crore was granted on 18 February 2020 for the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana.

The following people are the beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana:
- Farmers of the account holder or joint account holder.
- The family of the farmers consists of father, mother, husband, wife, girl child, boy children, daughter-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter.
- The farmers who have no land for farming and took the land on Patras.
- The Bataidars working on other’s fields and shares the crops.

Uttar Pradesh Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Eligibility
- Only permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana.
- The candidate should have any bank account which is linked to their Aadhaar card.
- The applicant must declare any nominee from his/her family in the application form so that that nominee will receive the insurance money in case of a farmer’s death.
- The candidate can be the owner of the land that he is farming or he can take others for farming.
- The candidate’s age must be between 18-70.
How to Submit the MP Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Application Form?
- An application must be written by the farmer or farmer’s family to the District Collector.
- And there should be complete information about the incident which is happened to the farmer.
- Within the specified time, the application should be submitted to the tehsil office.
- After the completion of application verification, the farmer or farmer’s family based on the incident will get the amount to their account.
UP Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Time Frame
- The submission of the application should be in less than 45 days Extra 1 month or 30 days of time will be provided by the Collector.
- If any application received after 75 days, that application will not eligible for Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana
UP Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana Assistance Amount
- The nominees of the farmer’s family will get Rs.5 lakh if there is a death or disability that happened to the farmers.
- If the farmer already took any amount from other insurance Schemes, then the remaining amount will be provided to the family of the farmer.

For the successful implementation of Mukhaymantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana, a portal will be releasing soon. Through the portal, people can register for Mukhyamantri Kisan Durghatna Kalyan Yojana. There is no need to go to the tehsil office for the registration or can write an application to the collector after the launch of the Website. The applicants will be allowed to apply either online or offline.
