A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
UPSC CAPF AC Recruitment 2024 – Age Limit
- To be eligible, a candidate must be between 20 and 25 years old as of 1st August 2024, meaning they must have been born between 2nd August 1999, and 1st August 2004.
- The upper age limit can be relaxed: by up to five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, by up to three years for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes eligible for reservation, by up to five years for Civilian Central Government Servants as per existing instructions. Ex-servicemen can also avail of this relaxation, with the total relaxation for Government Service capped at five years.
