UPSC CSE Mains Syllabus

UPSC CSE Mains Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)  released the UPSC CSE Mains Exam Syllabus 2024 for the Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2024 for 1056 posts. Candidates who have appeared for the preliminary examination on 16th June 2024 based on the performance from the preliminary exam the UPSC officials has released the results for the shortlisted students.

Candidates can achieve a good score in the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) by preparing with this UPSC CSE Mains Exam Syllabus 2024. The UPSC Civil Services Examination (Mains/ Stage‐1) consists of Nine Papers (Descriptive) Paper I to Paper VII. There are 48 Optional Subjects in the UPSC exam. The candidate has to select any one subject among them. Two papers (Paper VI and Paper VII) will be conducted for 250 marks each.
