Items Not To Be Brought For Examination Hall
- Candidates should note that during the examination they are not carrying any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic device or programmable device or storage media like pen drive, smartwatch, etc. or any camera or Bluetooth device or No other equipment or related accessory should be in on or off mode to be used as a communication device. Violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action and debarment from future examinations.
- The ordinary or normal wristwatches will be allowed to be carried by the candidates inside the examination hall/building. However, watches fitted with any special accessories, which can be used as communication devices or smartwatches are strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to carry such watches in the examination hall/building.
Important Instructions For UPSC NDA Exam
- Check the e-Admit Card carefully and bring the discrepancies, if any, to the notice of the Union Public Service Commission immediately.
- In your entire correspondence with the Union Public Service Commission, mention your name, roll number, registration id and name and year of examination.
- Carry this e-Admit Card (Printout) along with Photo Identity Card (original), whose serial number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, for each session to enter the examination venue. Keep the e-admit card safe till the declaration of the final result as it is necessary to produce it before the Services Selection Board.
- You are responsible for the security of the e-admit card and if any other person uses this e-admit card, then it is your responsibility to prove that you have not taken the service of any impersonator.
- Please note that the entry to the examination venue will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination i.e. at 09:50 in the forenoon session and at 01:50 in the afternoon session, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the closure of admission. Will not be allowed inside.
- Candidates are advised in their own interest to visit the venue of the examination at least one day in advance so that they can get acquainted with the route to reach there and avoid last minute rush. The candidates should reach the examination venue well in time keeping in mind the frisking that may occur on the day of examination.
- Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to take the test at any other venue other than those mentioned on the e-Admit Card. If any candidate appears at any other venue for any reason, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
- Please read the “Examination Manual/Instruction” available in the Examination Notice and the “Poster” displayed outside the Examination Hall in which the instructions are mentioned.
- Your candidature for the examination is provisional.
- There will be a penalty (negative marking) for marking the wrong answer by the candidate.
- Answers marked with a pen other than a black ball point pen will not be evaluated.
- Candidates are advised not to bring valuables/valuables to the examination hall as their safety cannot be assured. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss caused in this regard.
- The candidates whose photo is not clear on the e-admit card will have to bring one photo identity proof and two passport size photographs one each for both the sessions for appearing in the examination by giving an undertaking.
- Candidates may note that in case of any omission/mistake/discrepancy while encoding the details in the OMR Answer Sheet, especially in respect of Roll Number and Series Code of the Test Booklet, the Answer Sheet will be liable to be rejected.
- It is mandatory for all the candidates to wear a mask/face cover. Candidates not wearing a mask/face cover will not be allowed to enter the examination venue.
- However, the candidates will have to remove the mask on verification by the authorities involved in the examination process.
- Candidates are required to bring hand sanitizer in a transparent vial (small size) for their use.
- The candidates will have to observe ‘Social Distancing’ and ‘Private Cleanliness’ inside the Examination Hall/Room and in the Examination Venue Premises, adhering to the norms of “COVID-19”.
