Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology is commonly known as VFSTR is a private university which is situated in Guntur district Andhra Pradesh, India. It’s in the rural area of Vadlamudi, on the southeastern part of Guntur city. The University provides high-quality academic programs, training activities, research facilities, and opportunities. The VFSTR interaction aimed toward promoting employability, entrepreneurship, leadership and research ability among students. It contributes towards the economic and technological development of the region, state, and nation.
With the same commitment is followed in the VFSTR. The university has set on the goal of educational excellence with an amazing growth having already bagged the 88th position within the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of Govt. of India and authorized with the best grade of ‘A’ by NAAC – all in an awfully short span of just seven years.
VFSTR with its quality consciousness has adopted a number of the simplest practices within the region in tune with the changing national and world trends in teaching and research. The university has a bigger emphasis on innovation, research, skill development, and shouldering very larger responsibilities. Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology, and Research ( VFSTR) Admissions Process
- B. Tech and B.Pharm admissions will grant to the aspirants based on the marks scored in the exam conducted by the university i.e V-SAT.
- Qualified students in the vegan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test can attend the counseling.
- Candidates who are passed in the JEE Main or EAMCET are eligible for admissions.
- B.Sc admissions are completely based on the merit list. Candidates should write the Vignan’s Joint Entrance Test (V-JET) for BBA and BCA courses.
- M. Tech admissions will be based on the score in GATE/ VU CET or PGECET.
- Students need to pass the ICET/ MAT or CAT for MBA admissions.
- MCA course admissions to the candidates those who are qualified in ICET
- Ph.D. admissions will be based on the performance in written test and interview. Candidates who are qualified in GATE/ CSIR-NET or CAT is free from the written test.
Reservation Seats
5% of the seats from category B for the foreign students or to the children whose parents working in Gulf or Sout East Asia and other foreign nations. NRI students can be admitted to the Ph.D. program but not exceeding two (2) in a department or school in an academic year.
Provisional Admission Form
Application form for provisional admissions will be submitted to the dean-admissions along with the described fees on or before the last date that has specified. Directorate of admissions will check the eligibility criteria and then they will issue the admission letters to the students. NRI candidates required to obtain the visa for other formalities.

Procedure Admission Process
The prescribed eligibility fee has to be deposited along with the form on or before the specified last date. Attach with this application form, photocopies of the statement of marks of the last qualifying examination duly attested by:
- Indian Embassy in a foreign country, (or)
- High Commissioner of students’ country in India, (or)
- Ministry of Education of his/ her home country.
In the case of Ph.D. application following points need to be followed.
- Candidates need to attach 6copies of proposed research along with the application form.
- Attach a minimum of two recommendation letters obtained from the faculty members who have taught the applicant earlier or at least one or from the persons under whom the applicant has worked (at least one).
- Also, you have to attach a photocopy of Migration Certificate with the application form.
- Attach affidavit to the application form relating to the gap between the year of passing and the last qualifying examination and the date of application for admission to this Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research.
- The Dean, Admissions will issues the provisional admission letters to the candidates after scrutinizing the application form and on the basis of credentials verified by the Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research and as required by the Association of Indian Universities.
