West Bengal Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme Eligibility Guidelines
- Only permanent residents of West Bengal are eligible for Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme.
- Only the unemployed youth can avail themselves of the benefits of the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme.
- The candidates must qualify at least in the 8th class examinations.
- The age of the applicants must be in between 18-50 years.
Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme Benefits
- Through the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme, the unemployed people will get the benefit of self-employment.
- The candidates will get Rs.2,00,000 as a loan amount for their startup.
Within 3 years, 3 lakh youth will get the benefits of the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme. - Rs.500 crores will be spent by the government for the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme and every year one lakh people will be benefited.

How to Register for the Karma Sathi Prakalpa Scheme?
- The MFC of the district must get all the applications of applicants from the BDO/SDO Office and the Commissioner of KMC in 3 working days for the next process.
- The MFC officials will convert the physical applications into digital applications and uploads them in the portal called Karma Sathi Portal.
- Next, the MFC should forward the applications through the Karma Sathi Portal to the District Cooperative Banks and the applicants will get an SMS notification.
- According to the existing banking norms, the applications will be a move by the Cooperative Bank, and the applicants will get the sanction of loan with the Karma Sathi Portal and update it.
- The candidates must have a bank account in Cooperative Bank.
- The 90% or 95% loan amount will be provided in two installments directly to the bank account.

50% of the loan will be sent in the first installment and links to the cash credit account of the candidate. After received the certificate of usage of the first installment, the second installment will be processed in the same as the first.
