WB Police Wireless Operator Exam Pattern
- Candidates have to appear Preliminary Examination (Full Marks – 100). There would be 100 objective-type questions having multiple choice (four choices) answers carrying equal marks each. The duration of this examination will be 1:30 hours (one hour and thirty minutes). The question paper will be set in two languages (Bengali & Nepali).
- The Final Competition Examination (Full Marks – 85 Marks) consists of two parts namely., Part-I, Part-II. Part-I exam OMR-based MCQ type examination of 1 (one) hour duration having 70 (seventy) MCQ type questions carrying equal marks each. The question will be set in English only. There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer. The Part II exam will be for 30 minutes of duration.
- Finally, the Personality Test consists of 15 marks.

- Firstly, candidates have to attend the Preliminary Examination (Full Marks – 100). There would be 100 objective-type questions having multiple choice (four choices) answers carrying equal marks each. The duration of this examination will be 2 hours (two hours). The question paper will be set in only the English language. There is a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.
- Secondly, Final Competitive Exam (Full Marks – 200). This examination consists of two papers Paper-I and Paper II. Paper-I is for 50 Marks with one (1) hour of duration. and Paper-II is for 150 Marks with 2 Hours of duration.
