UPSC Civils 2021 AIR 15 - Yaswanth Kumar Reddy Topped from Telugu States

He is a native of Madi, a village in Kalugotla, Chagalamarri Zone, Kurnool District. His father Pullareddy is a headmaster in a government school. Mother, Lakshmidevi is a housewife.

Ch Yashwant Kumar Reddy started his career with a job as an engineer in IOCL at an early age, with Rs. 90,000 per month, but it did not satisfy him.

He started preparing for competitive exams and secured third rank in Group-1 conducted by APPSC. Later, he secured 93rd rank in Civils 2020. Now, in UPSC Civils 2021, he has topped with AIR 15 from Telugu states.

Challapalle Yashwant Kumar Reddy has proved that one can achieve unprecedented success if one believes in the hard work of the target and moves forward.
