Conducting body MAT Exam: All India Management Association (AIMA) CAT Exam: IIM

Eligibility Criteria MAT Exam: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for the reserved category) CAT Exam: Passing marks required for a bachelor’s degree

Exam Frequency MAT Exam: Four times a year (February, May, September, December) CAT Exam: Once a year (November)

Mode of Exam MAT Exam: MAT is conducted in three modes – Computer Based Test (CBT), Paper Based Test (PBT) and Internet-Based Test (IBT) CAT Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Difficulty Level MAT Exam: Easy-Moderate CAT Exam: Difficult
