Smriti used to study regularly for eight hours and prepare notes daily. Further she said "I never paid attention to whether I had to study for eight hours or 10 hours. I always decide the topic. Accordingly, i've studied further"
Smriti further says, 'I had distanced myself from social media to focus on studies. Used to stay connected with her friends and family members only through WhatsApp.

Smriti says, "I was broken when I could not pre-qualify in the second attempt. I thought I would not be able to clear UPSC." At that time my seniors encouraged me.
