Standing out from the rest, Kanika Goyal, a resident of Model Town in Kaithal, distinguishes herself. Being the sole offspring of her parents, Kanika's accomplishment carries a unique significance.

After a decade of unwavering dedication, she triumphantly passed the UPSC examination on her second try, securing an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 9.

Kanika Goyal (24) from Kaithal has emerged as the top scorer in the state of Haryana, securing the 9th rank nationwide. This remarkable achievement comes in her second attempt after an unsuccessful try in the previous year's examination.

Kanika Goyal, hailing from a humble family, nurtured the ambition of becoming an IAS officer since her early years. She is the only child of Lakhmi Chand Goyal and Neelam Goyal, residing in a joint family in Kaithal, where her father manages a Kariyana store. Kanika shared that this was her second attempt, as she did not clear the interview in her initial try.

She pursued her schooling at Hindu Girls Senior Secondary School in Kaithal and completed her graduation at Shri Ram College for Women in Delhi. Kanika also availed online coaching for UPSC to support her preparations.
