Yogi Vemana University is a freshly established university within the Kadapa district with its West Campus at Idupulapaya. Initially, it was a part of Sri Venkateswara University. it’s named after a good thinker, philosopher, and social reformer Yogi Vemana, the foremost celebrated Telugu author and sage of all time. It is situated at Mittamedipalli village and panchayat regarding fifteen km from the Kadapa on the Kadapa -Pulivendla road.

The campus is spread over 450 acres (1.8 km2) of land. The University is known for providing the quality of education to all the students through each full time and distance studying choices in numerous colleges related to the university. Yogi Vemana University (YVU) Admissions 2019-2020

• To get the B.tech admission in YVU candidates need to appear in JEE (Joint Entrance exam) and the selection of candidates is based on the rank and the aspirants must secure at least 55% in 10+2.
• For all other UG courses, candidates need to attend for the YVU-CET based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam admissions will be approved and the candidates must secure at least 55% in 10+2.
• To get the PG courses admissions, candidates need to attend for the YVU-CET based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam seat will be allotted and the candidate must graduation degree with a minimum 55% marks in the concerning the subject.
